The Richmond Writers Coalition is a collection of writers group leaders whose mission is to help Richmond area writers find the writing group that is best for them. Through our mutual interaction and sharing of ideas, we improve our own meetings and inform others about where to find the best writers group for themselves.

Come meet other local writers to exchange ideas, knowledge, support, and let the creative energy flow! This group is designed to provide support for your creative project, and a chance to give support to others. We are a serious group (but fun), and welcome both fiction and non-fiction writers. Tidewater Writers is dedicated to supporting and nurturing writers (we include writers of fiction, non-fiction poetry, plays, and essays). We are a friendly and rather laid back group that focuses on providing helpful critiques and general knowledge about the publishing process.
