Coming together is a beginning. Keeping together is progress. Working together is success.--Henry Ford The Midlothian Writers' Workshop aspires to embody the spirit of Mr. Ford's words, through a collaboration of writers engaged in the vital authorial processes of writing and critiquing. We hold these procedures as the quintessential tools to elevating our work and ourselves, to inspiring creativity and ultimately, as the path to our individual writing goals.

The Writers' Network of Richmond exists to nurture and promote mutually beneficial relationships between writers in the Central Virginia area. Our philosophy can be summed up with two simple points: 1. There's nothing better than being a writer. 2. There's no better time than now to be one. Be sure to read our ABOUT US page for answers to all of your important questions!

This is a group for creatives in all arts disciplines in the Ashland, Virginia area to find each other for potential collaboration. This is a call out not only to fine artists who might think that the area is not ready for the subject matter that they deal with, but also for musicians, dancers, videographers, …

Looking to start a book club here in the Richmond/Midlothian area of Virginia. Initial meetings will take place at Colony Coffee. If you're interested, or at least curious, join up! If you can't make a meeting, don't worry. I'll do my best to try for a time that works for everyone, but realistically crises and events come up that might keep you from attending. Likewise if you're having a busy month and skip the book, just jump right back in- there is no marks for tardiness!
