An ongoing group of writers that meets every Monday night at a restaurant in White Plains. Two people submit every week and the group reviews their work and discusses it at the meeting. Meetings are usually two hours. A writer will on average submit once a month. Before being admitted to the group, we require a writing sample. Any representative work will be fine.  It doesn't have to be long.    

We are a creative community center in the heart of Westport in a 19th century carriage house that looks like a little red schoolhouse. We're looking for individuals and families interested in Handmade music and getting together to make it. Food, beer and camaraderie are welcome additions. Ages 1 to 101. No musical experience necessary - sing, bang on a pot or dance. Nothing played should be powered by anything other than your hands, mouth or feet - we should be able to play through a hurricane.

This group meets bi monthly to discuss your ideas, your process and your art. Members of this group are eligible to show art at 2-3 annual gallery shows.
