This is a group for anyone interested in fiction writing. Until the group is well establish a group we will start by a short writing exercise followed by an hour of writing. Once the group is established, we can change the format to fit the wishes of the members. Writing has been my hobby for a couple of years now, and I would love to meet, exchange ideas, and learn from other aspiring writers in the area.

Welcome to Staten Island writers! Meetups will start with a writing prompt which members will have 20 or so minutes to write. They will then be read, but this isn't obligatory. Afterwards, we will review someone's writing and take turns offering them constructive feedback.
