As a transplant from Seattle, I've been missing my poetry workshop mates and I haven't discovered a group on here or in this city that quite fits. I'd like to have a place that provides opportunity for serious workshopping of poetry, as well as helps fellow poets write new poetry and have a safe place to share their poetry and experiment. Calligraphers, graffiti writers, brush letterers, informal writers with bad handwriting, design and type lovers should all show up to this. Writing is freedom through form, and we can make beauty without worrying about whether it looks perfect. Writing comedy and humor of any form is not easy. Doing it on a regular basis is even harder. This comedy/humor writing group is open to anyone of any level who writes in any format.
