Are you committed to writing? We are looking for serious wordsmiths to join our critique group located in Montgomery County, Maryland. We meet the 2nd and 4th Thursday of every month at 7pm in Olney, MD, at the Harris Teeter. Our meetings are about two hours in length. We have writers of different experience levels working in speculative, young adult, and dark fiction. We try to include a writing prompt at the end of every meeting.

I'm an aspiring author. We meet every first and third Wednesday evening of the month to exchange critiques of our writing. This is a group for dedicated writers of young adult and juvenile genres working towards publication.  

I decided to start this group because I want to meet fellow aspiring writers looking for a circle of support, a safe place to share their writing and try out their works of memoir, novel, fiction, etc. to a supportive audience who can provide constructive feedback. Our group consists of writers at all levels of writing experience. Our meetings are held on the first Saturday (at 11:00 a.m.), the third Saturday (at 11:00 a.m.), and the fourth Tuesday (at 7:00 p.m.) of each month. Meet other local writers and offer one another feedback in a relaxed environment. Members bring at least one hard copy of their work in completed first drafts of stories (both fictional and non-fictional and everything in between). Someone in the group (not the writer) will read the story aloud.
