As a fledging author, it is helpful to have other writers hear my written material and offer constructive criticism. The purpose of the group should be to listen carefully and be able to explain how the writing could be improved, correct POV, etc. Anyone who is interested in writing articles, short stories, essays and or novels would be welcome.

Back when I was in high school I lived in a small town where all different people met at least twice a week around the town at different places and would drink coffe and listen to poetry. This is a great way to exspress your thoughts and if you just wanted to sit back and listen it's a very calm groove. I wish anyone and everyone who would like to meet with others ocasionaly at outdoor readings and readings at local cafe's around cape coral, ft. myers areas permited I can hold an open mic gather …

Our club boasts working women, young mothers and retired snowbirds; women of all ages and walks of life who simply love to read.
