Writing Coach Lori Pfeiffer (www.lorirohlkpfeiffer.com) organizes this free weekly workshop and critique group for fiction and nonfiction writers who are working on short stories, essays, memoirs or novels. In addition to workshopping, participants take turns volunteering to lead a discussion on a given topic, such as nurturing a narrative, structuring a scene and creating character.
The group meets every Saturday from 10 a.m. to noon at a coffee shop in Boulder. Please check the meeting notice to confirm our actual spot.
Attendees are responsible for downloading that week's manuscripts to workshop under the "files" button on the navigation bar on the left. There are also sometimes readings for the week.
To sign up to lead a discussion, contact one of our assistant organizers. Lori is in Arizona for the schoolyear, but will return full time in January 2010.
