Brevard Writers June Meeting

Hello again -

Whoops. The next 'klatch' is Saturday, June 14 in downtown Melbourne - and the next night gathering will be Wed., June 25 at 7 p.m. in Indian Harbor Beach.
We're still in search of the "best" meeting days / times.

Valerie W. made me aware of something I'd missed - the Orlando Writers Meetup... their next meeting is Thur. 26 June at 7 p.m. in Winter Park.

Big thanks to Lois for agreeing to be helping me "lead" this puppy.

If you have writing you'd like to "share," helpful tips or exercises, favorite websites and ideas for 'brevardwriters.org' - c'mon along with us...

Since answering in the affirmative may not highlight any best answer, how about letting me know what meeting days and times are definitely NOT good for you?

With the goal of encouraging each other to write more, we decided on an informal vibe for now. No pressure (commitments, quotas, deadline-driven participation, expectations), no hierarchy - more of a laid-back conversation or workshop of peers.
(It is certainly not our intention to replace any other organized meetings already taking place.)

And until someone objects or proposes a better alternative I'm going to keep using the word "klatch".

Show up when you wish, or when you can, and leave when you're ready.

+ Bring your questions, useful website addresses, ideas, goals, worksheets / tools / exercises, work or work in progress, concerns, experience, preferences... I'll seek out and bring brainstorming games / exercises too, always voluntary...

+ We could also talk more about making use of www.brevardwriters.org . All of the people at the April meeting have their own websites, so one possibility might be to showcase whatever we want to place on this new website and link out to our usual web "homes".
