“ We will be meeting in their reserved meeting space, just passed the cash/wrap area. Any employee should be able to point you in the right direction, and I will be there early to meet any early arrivals. I'm looking forward to meeting everyone! ”
Agenda:
1: "Hi, who are you?" -- a meet and greet, let's get to know each other as people and as writers.
2: "I write, therefore I am." -- why are we writers, and what are our goals, alone and as a part of a group.
3: "8pm (or so) 'Epiphany'" -- quick writing exercise from "3AM Epiphany" to get us thinking outside of our creative comfort zones.
4: "Share and share alike" -- opportunity to share your original works for critique with the group, as time allows. Recommended that several copies of your piece to share be printed out, especially if it is a longer work. This way it can be critiqued outside of the meeting, and brought back later. So much creativity, so little time!
5: Ideas and suggestions, and announcement of the next meeting.
