Free Writing is writing whatever you want for three minutes in response to a simple prompt. There is no right or wrong way and this is your chance to turn off your internal editor and just let the words spill out. You can then share what you have written with the group or pass if you feel you must. Remember we are all nervous at first.
This is not a critique group. Nobody will analyze your use of syntax or plot structure. It is a chance for you to exercise your writing muscle and learn a warm-up exercise. See what stories you can come up with as result of these prompts. Ideas are encouraged.
All are welcome!
