The New Castle Writers Meetup Group

Meet other local writers of any genre or purpose -- whether its serious stuff, or just for distraction and especially for personal exploration. Therefore, ANY kind of writing is good-writing, here. It is a place to let your words out for a walk with others as they do the same. A Word Drop-In kind of thing. All writers -- and should-be writers -- are welcomed! Yes, stories, plays, journal entiries, novels, song lyrics, and just words that are yet to be organized, with a union card or not. Bring them all in for show and tell.
My home in Old New Castle is on the river with ample parking. When weather permits we may invade a local pub, stroll through a garden or seek inspiration near the water's edge. I also like the idea of a prompt each week that we may respond to. Brevity is really cool. Sharing when the urge moves you is good, too. I'm winging this, so I will gladly take suggestions and encourage others to share the chair, as it goes. But I'm sure with the lot of we luminaries, there will be plenty to say and to consider deeply. Hopefully--we will have some laughs.
