My [short or long-term] writing goals are:: I have no wishes of being a commissioned writer however being recognized and published on a local level would be my short and long term goals.
I am currently working on:: I am always working on my poetry. Currently I'm trying to perfect my story telling skills with short stories.
My influences and muses are:: When it comes to Poetry my biggest influence is Franz Wright but I take from everyone from Ann Sexton to Robert Hass. I have developed a love for Kelly Link and her short stories as well as Joyce Carol Oates.
I primarily write about:: I am young and still seam to be stuck in that time period where all I write about is me and the world in relation to me. I would like to use this group to expand my views and see the world as a writer sees it.
