    Hope this is the begining of a writer's life, and what she can give, and the help she can get!

Who attended?

    • “ I got some really, really good feedback. I'm not sure about reading aloud. Not because I think it isn't beneficial - it is - because I think we spend time reading a story that could have been spent offline. I feel bad because I dominated the latter half of the meeting and someone else could have gotten reviewed in place of my second story. On the other hand, the feedback I got for that second story was invaluable to me and reading it all together in one place created a shared experience which served as an excellent jumping off point for conversation. The reviewed material was probably served better as a result. All in all, it was a good meeting. ”
    • “ Too much time spent on detail only two people shared the work. For me it is all about the work. Unequal time, could use a moderater. ”
    • “ It's very hard to hear people reading out load in a public space. It was especially hard with a child sitting behind us and not be able to read certain stories. I think it might help to have a rule that everyone attending bring a maximum of 5 pages to share and they need to bring six copies of those. This way, when a story is unreadable out loud, others can still make comments about it to the author. ”
