What: How do you come up with ideas for your writing

Who should come: All writers who want to learn ways to develop their writing or share their experiences with writers block and breaking through it to create a piece of work.

Why: This is the workshop not to miss. Work through that writers block with the help of others that are going through it or have broken through it.
Learn ways to break through your block and start writing again.

Meeting Description: Our next meeting will be at the Castledowns Library I will post the area of the library closer to the date.

This is the start of a 6 part workshop on writing.


Part one is based around story/ writing ideas.
We will discuss
- How to break through writers block
- Where does your spark come from
- How we come up with ideas for writing
- How we know that the idea can become a piece of work
- What can be dome t make the idea work when it is not
- how we develop the idea into a piece of writing

Be prepared to come with some ideas on what you do to develop an idea. Maybe what you do can help someone else.

After the discussion there will be a writing exercise to do with developing ideas for writing.
Bring something you are working on or have finished to share with the group .

creating a realistic setting
