The North Metro Area Writers late May Meeting

Welcome to the North Metro Area Writers Meetup!

We will now be meeting every two weeks on Tuesday evenings.

Meetups will take place at the Caribou Coffee located at 2721 W. 120th Ave (North side of 120th just east of Federal) at 7:00 p.m.

I'm going to give everyone a specific assignment for this next meeting. I want you to write a minimum or 3 or 4 pages of whatever you are currently working on - or whatever you NEED to be working on to meet your immediate goal of getting something published, getting through that first draft, or simply getting a good start on your next work. Attendees at the next meeting should bring with them at least a few pages of NEW writing to share with the group for discussion and constructive criticism. There is no maximum limit for what you can bring to the next meeting, however we will only have time for a select few to read a few pages of their work within the time limits for each meeting. If you would rather have someone else read your writing for you that is fine, but we need to get our works read aloud to others if we are to step out of the box and get serious about this.

So find the time to sit down and write something NEW to bring to the table. This is our assignment for the next meeting.
