Details
Welcome to the North Metro Area Writers Meetup!
We will now be meeting every two weeks on Tuesday evenings.
Meetups will take place at the Caribou Coffee located at 2721 W. 120th Ave (North side of 120th just east of Federal) at 7:00 p.m.
At this next meeting we will continue adding to the group's "Writers Handbook" that will become a growing booklet consisting of our input for various types of writing. Personal lessons learned and any "tricks of the trade" are welcome. As we grow individually as writers we learn and discover new ideas and practices that help our works. I would like the group to share anything along these lines with each other to be added to our Handbook after discussions. No matter what type of writing you do, please attend and share your reading and writing lessons-learned so that we may all benefit from our writers "think tank".
Meetings will begin as one group before we sprout off into smaller huddles for each type of writing. I'd like to encourage everyone to bring some of your own work to every meetup to share with the group in whole, or with whomever you wish, however you wish. Reading one's own work aloud, or hearing someone else read your work, can shed new light on one's perspective and get us thinking from other points of view.
We hope you can join us!
