About The North Metro Area Writers Meetup Group

Let's face it, devoted writers are a unique group of people who think outside the lines and see the world in a big picture. Writing is first and foremost an exercise of the brain, and this group allows our creative minds to join together to build new friendships, help each other reach our personal goals and polish our work before we call it "finished". This is the best way for the most novice of writers to meet with professional published writers, and everyone in between. Our goals may be to overcome writers' block or a creative rut, to find technical info for publishing or public viewing, getting constructive criticism and praise from other writers, or simply learning of new authors and books to read as food for thought.
