Welcome, Fort Lauderdale Writers!

Our goal is to write more and to learn to love the process of writing.

We started out as a couple of people sitting around writing. Each week we would meet at the coffee shop, nod, say hello, open our notebooks, and write.

In the weeks that followed, the group evolved. We started discussing what we were writing, what we hope to write, and what we like to read. Character, plot, and writing schedules. And lately, we have been bringing in our work for critique.

If you want to join our discussion or want to share some of your work with us, please stop by. All experience levels are welcome. If you have no experience writing, come and get some. If you are blocked, come and get your fingers back in shape. If you are a seasoned writer, consider stopping by and giving the rest of us a few tips.

If you're shy, if you want to just come and write, that's all you need to do. Pull up a chair at the next table, take out your notebook, and write. You can wave to us as you walk past- you don't even need to stop and say hello.
