DESCRIPTION:The Wilmington Write to Publish Group\n\nOn Sunday January 27\,
  2008 from 2:00 to 4:00 PM at Pomegranate Books\, we will hold an open mic 
 contest with the winner to be decided by audience vote. The winner will rec
 eive a cash prize\, and anyone can enter to read. Newcomers are welcome.\n\
 nAll entries will put one dollar in the pot to have a chance to read. Six f
 inalists will be drawn randomly to read their 10-minute writing sample to t
 he group. The best reading (as voted on by the audience) wins the accumulat
 ed money in the pot.\n\nEach reading must be under 10 minutes\, and must be
  your own work (i.e. you can't read a section from someone else's novel or 
 poem). So bring a 10-minute section of your writing to read to the group\, 
 one dollar to enter into the pool\, and you could be voted the winner by yo
 ur peers.\n\nAdditionally\, we will start things off with a guest author di
 scussion and reading by newly published Matthew Peterson. Matt's first nove
 l Paraworld Zero has just been published by Creative Windstorm\, and we'll
