The Buffalo Writers Meetup Group
|
Come to a Buffalo Writers Meetup to discuss the writing life, trade literary tips, get constructive feedback on your work and enjoy great discussions. We offer Meetups during the week as well as on the weekends to try and accommodate as many schedules as possible. All writers are welcome! The format for the Meetups is simple: If there are new members, we do brief introductions all around the table. Then we have 20-30 minutes for discussion, followed by an opportunity for anyone who wishes to read aloud from their work and solicit feedback (it's helpful if you bring about 8-10 copies of your work to hand out.) It's a relaxing, fun and supportive environment. NOTE: When you come to the predetermined location for a Meetup, look for the table with the red and white "MEETUP" sign. And even if it's your first time attending, please don't be shy -- you'll be welcomed right in!
