Introduction

Hi, my name is Gurpreet and since childhood, my dream has been to become a published writer. I am also the organizer of the Cary Write On! Meetup group, and any of you are welcome to become members of that, also (see below for the link).

Have you ever been commerically or self-published?

YES!Writer's Journal magazine, which can be found at every Barnes & Noble and Borders bookstore in the country, sponsors writing contests. My story, "The Third Date", won third place in its romance contest and was published in the Jan/Feb 2007 issue

What type of writing are you most interested in?

Fantasy novels, but I also write poetry. I also love to write short stories on various topics (horror, romance, etc.), and have entered some in Writers Journal magazine contests.
