“ It was such a great opportunity to listen to these experienced and talented writers talk about their writing styles and journeys to getting published. ”
“ It was wonderful!!! I am a huge fan of Margaret, but until tonight, I had never heard of the other two. However, after hearing them speak, I will definitely be picking up both of their books. They were all very personable and engaging and I was particularly impressed with John, the newer author of the three. Although he was only on his second novel, he had just as much to bring to the table as the veterans. I am looking forward to delving into their books, as well as attending the next Write 2 Publish event. What a great way to spend a Saturday evening. Thanks, Stacey!!! ”
“ What the panel members shared felt very authentic, realistic and practical. I am most grateful for Stacey's arranging such a mix of perople and experience. Great questions and great answers. ”
“ Hats off to Mr. Cochran who obviously puts a great deal of preparation into thiese meetups. Perhaps there are others behind the scenes with similar efforts and, if so, hats off to them as well.
The three authors offered a range of experience and anecdotes and were quite forthcoming with advice. Ms. Maron was quite a character herself and a true pleasure to hear of her experiences along the way. I found Mr. Hart to be quick with his wit and profited from his willingness to share the reasons for his success as a fairly new author. Mr. Deaver's grasp of the craft, the market and the business of writing was as illuminating as I had hoped it would be. ”
