How to record your story.

It's not as hard as you might think.

You need a computer and a microphone. You can get usb mic/headset that people use for gaming or for VOIP. It will cost $25 to $65.

Download the shareware version of Audible recording software.

Install the software, plug in the mic and press record.

Press stop, and save, and you are mostly done.

You will need to download a small program that is available in the public domain to convert your file to mp3 format. It will tell you which file you need and where to put it when you try to convert your first file.

It will then save you file as an mp3 and you can listen to your story, when and where ever you like.
