We Missed you!!!!

We had planned on being there tonight. I have been looking forward to it for a month! Today was just one of those days. First it was a rough day.....Second, I wasn't feeling well... and today was so beautiful darn it. All I wanted to do was go outside but was feeling dizzy and blah. :( Then my husband Jason had paying work that he ended up having to do so we wouldn't have made it to the meeting until you were almost finished! I am so bummed.

Our son Nathanael wrote his mini-essay on one of the topics and asked that I type it in here for everyone to read. I love the first line, it made me laugh.

Interruptions by Nathanael Batchelor

Interruptions are like the obnoxious bird outside your window that won't shut up. The interruptions I have are from the cats, my brother and my sister. There is also the idiot Mourning Dove or Crow that I ask to be quiet but always seems to ignore me.

I asked my Great-Grandma if I'm old enough to get a gun license and the gun. If I do have an air pistol and the bird who didn't read "The idiot's guide to shutting up" wouldn't shut up, I'd go outside and shoot at it to have it go away. Then I'd go back inside, get my notebook out and start writing again.
