Kat Smith is an authority on the publishing business. She has had a career in modeling and acting, including film, print, commercials and voice work plus Co-Hosting a morning show with ABC Radio Networks, Inc. She wants to share her book marketing resources and effective media coaching tips with our group.

Kat is also a writer with published articles in both domestic and international publications, and the author of four books, including The Naked Author, exposing the myths of publishing. This last book is a great resource for authors and is packed with information, contact addresses, links, etc to help you make more informed decisions in the publishing process. I know you will love Kat!

We are also pleased to present to you today the very first author to be published from within the ranks of this Self Publishing Support Group. Neal McAfee, author of Holocaust Memories of Rosy Mandel, will speak of his publishing journey and share from his newly published book. This a triumph in the making as Neal overcame many odds to come to the point where he now holds a finished book in his hands. I know you will want to be at this Book Launch Party to support, encourage and congratulate a fellow writer on his successful journey.
