Introduction

I'm a special ed/ English teacher who's new to the area. I've been writing short, online articles and a comic strip for some time, but I want to get back into writing fiction.

What do you write?

Currently, I write a lot of short attention span articles for a website - reviews, news blurbs, opinion, etc. I also write a webcomic.

What do you read?

I'm an English teacher, and as such I feel like I'm supposed to be all about Faulkner and Hemingway, but I'd really rather read paranormal mystery. I also read comic books, mostly stuff from the 1980s and 1990s.

Tell me something else about yourself, please?

I wish I had a 1950s diner-waitress name like Madge or Mabel or Betty.
