Hi everyone! I'm a long time Philadelphia resident with dreams of traveling to Asia, especially Japan. I write mainly science fiction and fantasy. Novels and short stories are my format.
One page at a time
1. "Worlds of Wonder" by David Gerrold. This is helped refuel my passion for writing, as well as giving solid advice, especially for writers in the Fantasy and Science Fiction genres. 2. "Stein on Writing" by Sol Stein. Amazing book in every way.
I'm not sure. I love the act of creation. I love new characters and new places. At points, writing has kept me sane. It also gives me purpose. And when it's not forcing me to tear my hair out, it's fun.
Mainly Science Fiction, Fantasy, Self Help, Manga, Language Study Aids, Science, and Chinese/Japanese Literature. Although if a book is good, no matter the genre, I'll read it. I'm a reading junkie.
Haeng Bok means 'full of happiness' in Korean. It's one of ten words I speak in Korean. I'm really focused on learning Japanese now. Because of this, I'm not sure why I decided to make my internet callsign in Korean, except Haeng Bok sounds cool.
"I am also a grad student at Temple University, working towards my MA in Literature + Creative Writing. And I am a recent graduate of the Odyssey Writing Workshop: a FANTASTIC program if you are a speculative fiction writer of any stripe!"
A warm and wonderful group of enthusiastic, motivated writers. This group just gets better and better.
